Beautification Program

The MGRA Beautification Program celebrates Manitoba communities, municipalities, and homeowners for excellence in road maintenance and beautification.

Through an annual competition, we recognize outstanding municipal roads, residential properties, and urban spaces, encouraging pride in Manitoba’s landscapes. Winners are honoured at our annual awards banquet.

  • This award recognizes municipalities that demonstrate excellence in ongoing road maintenance. It’s intended for rural municipalities that uphold high standards in surface condition, safety, signage, ditching, and roadside upkeep.

  • This category honours rural municipalities that have made noticeable improvements to their overall road network in the past year.

  • This award is presented for exceptional construction of a new or rebuilt municipal gravel road completed in the previous year.

  • This award recognizes overall beautification efforts in an unincorporated urban centre, such as a village or town.
